    Call for Papers and Participation

The second Micro-Robot World Cup Soccer Tournament (MIROSOT'97) was held at KAIST, Daejeon, Korea on June 1 - 5, 1997. An international TECHNOPOLIS SUMMIT organized by Daejeon City hall was also held along with MIROSOT'97. It was expected that around 20 techno-city mayors from different countries was attended the summit to share the latest developments in science and technology around the world over. MIROSOT is being held every year with an aim to promote the developments in small, autonomous robots and intelligent systems that can cooperate with each other and to contribute to the state of the art advancements in these specialized fields.

A one day technical workshop was held on June 1st, followed by four days of competitions. Matches were played by two teams, each consisting of THREE robots (three a side). The Single-MIROSOT (S-MIROSOT) competitions shall be held with two teams, each with a single robot (single a side).
